As a partially handicapped person myself I am disgusted to see one of my neighbours regularly abusing the blue badge system. Her husband has a blue badge, but she seems to feel it is hers to use whenever she sees fit. It seems that she is not alone – I often see people park in the streets leading to Western Road with badges, happily skipping up and down the hill, often with numerous bags of shopping which for someone in a legitimate disabled situation would be impossible.
