REGENCY is a local magazine for the centre of Brighton and Hove, produced by local residents in the area. Many have a background in national journalism on a variety of topics, such as consumer law and politics, but give their time free of charge to producing REGENCY magazine for the community.
It is delivered through the doors to approximately 12,000 residents, but is also distributed in cafes and bars around the Lanes and Seven Dials area, reaching an even wider area both around and outside Brighton. We are a not-for profit organisation, and everyone involved gives their time freely. Our magazine is funded solely through advertising, but, unlike other magazines, we only take enough advertising to cover our print and distribution costs.
The magazine was created, and is currently edited, by Tony Davenport.
